Bay changes all the time. The tide rises and falls twice a day, the sun rises and sets, the seasons come and go. These constant changes affect not only the Bay, but also the wildlife living in and around it. We are fortunate here in the Bay area to be surrounded by an abundance of natural patterns and seasonal progressions, but in our daily lives it is all too easy to miss the changes occurring around us. Being able to recognize and understand these remarkable changes will improve everyone’s appreciation of the natural world we share.

Join OCSC for a two-hour evening lecture that introduces some of the aquatic creatures that call the Bay their home. Presented by OCSC instructor Bill Kinney, the lecture will focus individually on each of the four seasons and the ways local wildlife adapt to them.
