So much of the joy of sailing comes from being in touch with nature, with the magic of wind and water. Out on the open water, the earth looks a little different than it does on land, and at OCSC, that perspective has made us passionate ocean advocates. In the words of Jean-Michel Cousteau, "Protect the ocean and protect yourself."
The world's oceans are our playground, and we take our responsibility seriously to protect it. That means minimizing the impact not only of sailing but of all activities that damage the frail web of life supported by the world's oceans. OCSC Sailing is using its leadership position in the sailing industry to help keep our oceans safe, healthy and beautiful. There are countless ways for you to join in taking care of our oceans, some of which are described below. We urge you to learn more and act on what you find out.
